Urgent Care Physician Job in Half Moon Bay, CA

Facility in Half Moon Bay, CA seeking Urgent Care locums coverage Rates: $150/hr Position Overview This facility is seeking 1 Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician (or Internal Medicine Physician comfortable seeing children) to provide urgent care and primary care services for all ages (excluding infants) on a locum tenens basis. The assignment will run from ASAP through the end of May 2025. Schedule & Coverage Details

Shift Schedule:

Wednesday Saturday: 9:00 AM 8:00 PM (1-hour lunch/dinner break).
Commitment to these days and times is required.

Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care/Primary Care.
Patient Volume: patients per day.

Duties & Responsibilities

Deliver urgent care and primary care services for all age groups, including children (but not infants).
Perform routine urgent care procedures.
Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation.

Requirements

Board Certification:

BC/BE in Family Medicine.
BC/BE in Internal Medicine if comfortable treating children.

Licensure: Active California medical license (required).
Certifications:

DEA, BLS, ACLS, ATLS, NRP, PALS (as applicable).

Other Requirements:

Clean malpractice history (strongly preferred).
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
