Inpatient Physical Therapist Assistant - Casual

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Inpatient Team.

Location: Nebraska Medical Center | Nebraska Medicine Omaha, NE

Schedule Details:

Position Type: Casual (scheduled on an as-needed basis)
Casual Position Requirements:
- One weekend per month (additional weekends may be available if desired)
- One holiday weekend per year required (holiday optional)
- Weekday shifts as needed, based on availability

Duties: Inpatient Physical Therapist Assistant - Casual

Conduct patient treatments as assigned or directed by a physical therapist.

Required Qualifications: Inpatient Physical Therapist Assistant - Casual
* Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant school required.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal required.
* Strong team orientation required.
* Strong computer and office equipment skills required.
* Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.
*Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).

Preferred Qualifications: Inpatient Physical Therapist Assistant - Casual
* Prior rehabilitation experience preferred.
