We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and adaptable Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our QLI and Kintinu teams. This is a unique role offering in person and virtual treatment opportunities centered around the functional recovery after a traumatic brain or spinal cord injury.

A virtual extension of QLI’s in patient program, Kintinu Telerehab, was built to meet our clients wherever they’re at in their recovery – no matter where they call home. This team specializes in virtual care. Clients partnering with Kintinu can quickly connect to specialized experts in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and psychology using video conferencing technology. Our experts treat a wide variety of diagnoses, including extremely complex cases. And, instead of working in silos, we differentiate ourselves from other clinics with our efficient and effective interdisciplinary approach.

Role Snapshot:

Our services are designed to connect recovery to everyday life. Serving individuals across the country, our specialized approach is focused on rebuilding confidence and continuing rehabilitation beyond the clinic. We offer a unique in person experience that breaks the mold of a traditional clinic, and virtual therapy leverages an easily accessible video platform to teach and build upon skills in the context of the real world. Regardless of the approach, our clinicians apply their skills and expertise in many of the same ways.

-Expressive and receptive speech intervention

-Cognitive training (i.e. attention, memory, problem solving, awareness, and safety skills)

-Life skills training (i.e. social skills, planning, organization, budgeting)

-Tapping into fulfilling and meaningful elements of life, including return to work

-Functional training geared towards success in the real world

Education and Certifications: 

• · Must be 18 years or older (required)
• · Must have a current and unencumbered license to practice in the State of Nebraska (or state of current residence) as a speech-language pathologist (required)
• · Must be open to obtaining additional licenses in other states based on company need (required)
• · Must complete an advanced degree accredited by the APTA (required)

Preferred Experience:

At least one year of rehab experience treating neurological disorders

Schedule:  

Full-time or Part-time

Vaccination Requirements:
