Business Systems Analyst
Serve as business analyst and programmer for NET's systems databases. Support the development and maintenance of electronic interfaces and multiple software systems and databases. Provide customer support across departments for databases, applications and reporting tools. Set up or redesign applications to allow for integrations between diverse databases. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or related field plus one (1) year experience with database administration and/or enterprise financial accounting systems; equivalent education/experience will be considered. Fundamental knowledge and experience using and working in relational databases with focus on Microsoft SQL, including querying syntax. Strong computer skills including business software, desktop applications, and data integration. Strong analytical skills. Excellent communications skills including both written and verbal correspondence. Ability to work with diverse groups across divisional lines in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Documentation skills including both end-user and technical data modeling.
Ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or related field. Three (3) years in database administration and enterprise financial accounting systems; equivalency considered. One or more of the following programming skills preferred, HTML, ASP, PHP, server side scripting or similar languages. Experience with accounting and budgeting. Knowledge of University SAP and/or State of Nebraska J.D. Edwards/Oracle system desirable. Experience with enterprise level MIS or accounting systems.
